Fysingen lake is situated in the north and offers a rich variety of birdlife.
Wild forest
To the south, on the border with Sollentuna municipality, is Törnskogen, which is one of Greater Stockholm´s last wild forests.
Six lakes
No less than six lakes are located wholly or partially within the boundaries of Upplands Väsby municipality.
Watercourses with unique inhabitants
The Väsbyån riverruns through central Väsby and is the home of fish such as the rare Aspen
(Asp) which migrates up the river to spawn each year.
